What is the IPSE Program?
Elevate, NC State’s inclusive postsecondary education program (IPSE) administratively housed in the College of Education, offers students with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience college life, gain academic, social, and employment skills, and develop greater independence.
What Will You Do as a Peer Mentor?
- As a peer mentor, you will:
- Support students in navigating campus life
- Offer academic assistance and study support
- Help foster social connections and engagement in campus activities
- Provide guidance on building independence and developing life skills
- Earn $15 per hour

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a current university student
- Demonstrate patience, understanding, and a willingness to support diverse learners
